Such a long time! Always spoke to myself to blog important events sometimes doesn't happen.. Maybe I will log one day which was very interesting.. This day began as everyday.. Wanted to do that and this... And suddenly the power shutdown and learnt that it would be full day maintainence... Looked like the whole world was down and out.. .. Slowly all four of us.. Finished few stuff and sat for conversation..one which will remain.. Topic after topic.. We spoke.. Shared old good memories.. Days of happiness and sorrow.. Mentally I was shut from all factors.. Just could concentrate on the present.. It was such a good time.. .. Just thinking how it would have been for people century ago.. Everyone lived for everyone.. Somewhere we lost our balance.. Power came... We went on to do the usual stuff..

Understanding of reality distortion fields and Perfection - Stever Jobs

" Possibly the big learning points reading the book "Steve jobs" is insights in reality distortion fields and perfection .

Reality distortion field might be considered a strong belief or faith on a particular thing be transferred to another person without making one conscious of his/her belief or self reasoning . This might be against reality , not necessary that it is truth but trying to make other belief in this particular idea/vision that it will solve the problem . Strong leaders do have it , the self reasoning they do go beyond a level that others are just hypnotized without much of resistance from their own reasoning capacity which looks infant in comparison.

Perfection doesnt mean to remove imperfection but maintaing the right balance between perfection, imperfection and the solution .

These are own interpretation and understanding arrived when reading Steve jobs books.

Heroes of India - Vanchinathan

On June 17, 1911, Vanchi who was just 25 assassinated Ashe, the district collector of Tirunelveli, who was also known as Collector Dorai. He shot Ashe at point-blank range when Ashe's train had stopped at the Maniyachi station, en route to Madras.[1] He committed suicide thereafter. The railway station has since been renamed Vanchi Maniyachi.
Ashe was instrumental in working against the Swadeshi shipping company started by freedom fighter VO Chidambaram Pillai. On that day, Ashe boarded the 9-30 a.m. Maniyachi Mail at Tirunelveli junction. With him was his wife, Mary Lillian Patterson, who had arrived from Ireland only a few days earlier. They had married on April 6, 1898, in Berhampore; Mary was about a year older than Ashe. They were on their way to Kodaikanal where their four children, Molly, Arthur, Sheila, and Herbert, lived in a rented bungalow. At 10-38 the train pulled in at Maniyachi. The Ceylon Boat Mail was due to arrive at 10-48. As the Ashes sat facing each other in the first class carriage, waiting for the Boat Mail to arrive, a neatly dressed man with tufted hair and another young man wearing a dhoti approached the carriage. The former boarded the carriage and pulled out a Belgian-made Browning automatic pistol. The bullet hit Ashe in the chest and he collapsed. The sound of the pistol shot was absorbed by the howling wind.
After the shooting, Vanchinathan ran along the platform and took cover in the latrine. Some time later he was found dead, having shot himself in the mouth. The pistol recovered from him was empty without any bullets as he just planned to kill himself after killing Ashe and had no intention to hurt anyone other than Ashe[2] In his pocket was found following letter:
"The mlechas of England having captured our country, tread over the sanathana dharma of the Hindus and destroy them. Every Indian is trying to drive out the English and get swarajyam and restore sanathana dharma. Our Raman, Sivaji, Krishnan, Guru Govindan, Arjuna ruled our land protecting all dharmas and in this land they are making arrangements to crown George V, a mlecha, and one who eats the flesh of cows. Three thousand Madrasees have taken a vow to kill George V as soon as he lands in our country. In order to make others know our intention, I who am the least in the company, have done this deed this day. This is what everyone in Hindustan should consider it as his duty."

Purpose of this series is not to debate the facts of Indian independence movement, but to throw light on some of the many deserving legends whom the our history text books have forgotten to mention.
The need to recognize and count the sacrifice of these people  at present time is the way of building a healthier nation and secularist nation who’s foundation was laid down by the sacrifice of these great people.
Veeran Sundaralingam – World’s first Human Bomb

Veeran Sundaralingam

During mid 18th Century the rule of great Indian empire had come to an end and the rule of colonial British era has begun. Panchalankurichi a small village of Thoothukudi district in Tamilnadu. Under it were 96 villages collectively ruled by the king Kattabomman .
Sundaralingam is considered to have born between 1775 – 1780 inKedunagiri village near Panchalakuruchi  to muthuaruli and kaladi. There are little recorded details on how his childhood was, but the available information suggest that he was very good at sports and was athletic.
He seem to have been good in the sport of kabadi and a master in the game of chess. There is a well known tale in his native village which says he once swam in the pond and captured a crane.

Once during his early adulthood, The Ettayapuram maharaja’s private farm land had its water supplied  from nearby kanmai(vast spans of open water storage systems) the water of which also flowed to the farms in kedunagiri. Due to the shortage of water to his farms he ordered his soldiers to close the channel leading to keudnagiri, when the soldiers arrived in kedunagiri they faced stiff resistance only from sundarlingam and his friends among many other helpless people. Yet the resistance they faced where so powerful that they were left with no other choice but to retreat.
This act was brought to the knowledge of the king of PanchalankuruchiVeerapandiya Kattabomman. He made sundaralingam brought to a single house in . While Sundaralingam was awaiting Kattoboman’s arrival, all he got was two visitors. The visitors said they had come to loot the house and made an offer to Sundaralingam and told him that a share would be given if he helped them. Sundaralingam became furious and opposed the thieves fiercely, the thieves were left with no choice but to reveal their disguise. They were no one but the Veerapandiyan and his secretaryThanapathi Pillai who had come to test the reliability of Sundaralingam and in which he passed with flying colors. Sundaralingam was made the general of Veerapandiyan Kattabomman’s army.

In 1796 when many kings payed heed to the British East Indian Company‘s demands, Veerapandi opposed and waged a war against the British a responsibility  shouldered by the then general of his, Sundaralingam.
In 1799 the british forces without any prior notice surrounded thepancahalankuruchi fort, but Sundaralingam did not back off knowing the possible outcome of the situation. Not many knew that he himself had a devious plan to put an end to the british plans of destroying the panchalakuruchi fort.
That night Sundaralingam’s fiancee Vadivu was driving her  herd of goats near theammunition dump of the british army, hidden among the goats was Sundaralingam covered in a blanket made of wool. When they approached the ammunition dump, Sundaralingam was spotted by a british soldier and raised the alarm. Sudaralingam did not waste a minute in thinking about his future, he grabbed the fire torch from Vadivu’s hand and jumped into the ammunition dump. Vadivu followed the path of Sundaralingam and jumped into the ammunition dump  to make the life together after death, they together blew the ammunition dump sky high. The thunderous explosions were heard miles across the area sending the british army running for cover. There they became the first ever known Human Bomb and were etched into history for eternity.

Things learned from Tedx speech

was invited to Tedx -gitam as one of the speakers for my work on Jan 4.

experienced a huge egos floating around from the speakers to the profs of the college... learned something that i will practice  to put oneself below ...talk extremely less..completely shut myself ...until i deliver on stage...

on stage..its never important to project who you are..doesnt matter..all it matter is your ideas..make sure the audience carry that part in their mind..inject the your idea deep into their souls..so it provokes theirs when time is right...

Cheers!
