Picnic Drive :)

   It had be a long time since we went for a drive - I and prasanna..after the trip for sivasumdram falls

He had wanted to go to poondi ..the place where he spent most of his childhood.. his green memories a child when he explored the dense trees and plants present there..his lil adventure gang:)..i didnt know much about the place..

its quite a surprise so close to the city around 1.30 hrs from it..yet most ppl dont visit..it was pleasant day luckily..and present drive to the place..saw the dam..it was good ! :)

..there was strip of road around 2km..rite on the wall of dam..sucha a enjoyable drive watching the big dam..birds flying around.. then we went for a lil exploration...the place looked as though it was untouched by humans !...

then we found a good place to swim..:)..good time..we decide to pack up..

it was short trip..maybe 4 to 5 hrs totally..but it a sweet one ! :)

 " It was a breezy day
         ..if only i realized it was so..

with disturbed and confused mind..
    ..sat i watching through the window

flaming dust coming for the roads
  ..still disturbing noise from cars passing by..

..quarrel on the road...rage of words flowing across..
   ..is this the beautiful life i wished for ? ..

for a moment,I took a deep breath..
  ..slowed down the breath..

..stillness..
  ..stillness..

started to see things that i never saw before..
  ...closer to the road was the tree dancing with the breeze..

..touch of the rain..wetness in the air..
   ..as the cool wind touches my skin..

I saw a small line of ants carrying food as though nothing was happening around..
 ..i said to myself..shouldnt i do the same :)

just a little closer..a butterfly flattering her wings..
  ..sat on the grill of window..

as though she asked me..series of questions popped up..
..was everything around a reflection of inside..
..no good...no bad..only perception and perceiver..

I stood still...she stood still..

....Stillness......."

 "To hold lil children in your arms is such a healing experience..especially special children who are in pain..remember my times in bangalore..where lil ones came running for a hug :)..after years i see them grow...they just soften you in ur heart,body and soul...

Love flows across..as you hold them..i remember lil kavya ,mentally challenged child..kissed me and said dont go !...that was so emotional...murali,soni,sowmya lil ones from sathya shanthi seva bangalore i will never forget for their love and affection..sowmiya from balagurukalam was special..

Beautiful conversations&Sunflower - Remembering Meera Mam

" I got a call from old age home around 2006 ,they askd if I could wish a person named Meera Nayak-never met before on her birthday [Its always warm when somebody  suddenly pops up and wishes you] . I knew she was elderly ,possibly feeling lonely . I didnt have too much of money to buy something big for her ..I wanted something invaluable and something she will remember me for ... So i decided to buy her a sunflower plant! .. it would be wonderful...early morning the flower would smile at her..and she can take care of the flower as well..

I reached her place on oct 11 .Door opened saw a woman of 80 + ..her voice is still ringing in my hears..initial questions..then once i wished and gave plant..she was excited ! ..jumping with happiness.all excited tone..all smiles :)..it was wonderful feeling to give ..there started the conversation which lasted for 3 hours..
 
 I came to know what a great person she was .. something popped in physics i was talking..then to my shock she told me Dr.CV raman -Nobel prize winner was her close friend ! .. we spent lot of time talking on music..then came another shocker .. her conversation with Menuhin sir,the greatest violin player ever lived.... my god..and she was president of Red cross ,india...list goes on..yet so simple and humble..so level headed..

Another thing she carried her youth with her ! at her age..you must see her excitement and curiosity to know something.. bubbly ..we both laughed when she confessed she always had a crush for amitabh bachan though 20 years younger than her..:)..

I had visited her the second time..we played mouth organ together..she was pro !..introduced me to strummin ..i had told her that i will take her to my home and play violin..she always wanted to play for her..

 During this conversation..she taught me one of the biggest lessons of my life.."INTERDEPENDENCY" ..that everything in this universe is interdependent..and we must understand that .. i slowly realized and understood our friendship as well..when it started i thought i wanted to make her happy that it...finally it turned out to be we both were happy ..

 Her words of encouragement is still in my heart..for such words are the ones which i carry for my huge battles ahead ..i wish she was there to hear my progress and to give her support ..

After that meeting i never met her..i left to bangalore then canada..used to call her from there..we had three to four more conversation..

I came to know .. she passed away earlier this year..

Friendship day -2010-Aug 1

Woke up..wished most friends..wrote mails to the one whom i cldnt reach.. thought i was appropriate to met our friends in our siding..so the series of calls started..

Decided to go to siding station where our friendship grew and strengthend..it was in this place that we decided start a organisation to help ppl..which later became" Towardsbetterworld trust " when we were 20 years old guys then..living a fun filled life :)..

on this day..i wanted most guys to turn up..its not the same ..as we grow up responsibility are bigger..most guys were on the matrimonial search..hahah never imagined that stage in life..we were living as though we were always singles :)..looked like four wld turn up ..

Uday,kouski and i took our favourite train..reached siding..to see the changes..our tea was not there!..our temple has changed..everything cleaned up..then it was walk in the forest :)..we enjoyed it..now all brushes are cut..paths are clean..steve rasu joined us ..

Good news was released that koushik ,rasu were getting engaged !!! :) ..happy we were to hear the news..went to another tea shop..brought bajii .. uday and i bite a piece .. ohh!!! we both realized something was wrong..at the same instant..we looked at each other..throwed away the bajii..it was egg bajii..we are pure veggies..small things like this non verbal communication when happens in friends..its wonderful :)...

There was small kids playing on banyan..i realized how beautiful life was if one was content with what one has..so the day ended..with friendship hugs..                                                                                                             
Will leave you with some beautiful memories of friendship that blossomed in the siding railway station ..later become friendship to serve society and people..

What is birthday bums? - Definition

Caution : Hold his bums down facing ground always.If vice versa god save the guy,we will pray for him .

Procedure for the ritual : One person ideally for lifting both legs or you can have one for one leg . Then one person for upper body . One important part , the key person - striker takes aim at his bums and delivers the maximum forced kick . Make sure, all things such as ipods,wallets,cellphones are removed from his back pocket .After this , give him his gift or cake

                        

Observation after the ritual : Honored person should not be able to sit in chairs . Swollen bums is the best effect to be desired .

Details on photos: Gangai having a dream of a birthday..background is completely white because we are inside a cloud !!!..top of a hill..fascinating place if we look down ,we can see a waterfall . I will write abt ths place in my travel blog. We surprised gangai by buying cakes and candle and all of a sudden ..we gave him bums and lit up the candles ..made him cut the cake in a awesome place.

Kalam sir and george sir ..as george sir used to tell me...they both used to walk early in the morning around anna university campus then president election wasnt held..

"The legend" asked george sir a simple question ..  what will you do suppose you are mining ..and find a huge mountain in between ..answer might be illogical but focus on your mind strength..george said many engineering..go around ..or closest we cld get was..cave a huge hole ...

Kalam sir..answered..."Blast the mountain " ...such brute aggressive mind...which is the key to creation and innovation .. when one uses these words only thing comes to mind is problems..and the answer he gives is this...blast it !"

"Designed a system - a microprocessor based one for mentally challenged child..which might improve his activity..wanted to see his response..we called in a child to play on it..he came..start slowly ..then full of joy !....i was very happy asked him whelther he enjoyed playing on it...he was jumping said 'Light game' went running around "...filled me with joy in heart and soul..there is so many miles to walk but this lil sucess gave a happiness which was very different and beautiful ..so i start to walk..

"It was drizzling ..raindrops were just right not too heavy .. it was day to remember..as I took my mom and dad for a lil walk in the renovated park-anna tower .A park which has seen our three generations..even my grandfather's father .. there was that small hump of cement rock which i remember when i was small child climbed and imagined that i had reached mt.everest..used to yell from the top ..

..my grandfather brought all of us a choco bar which was Rs.5 very costly then..we played round it..remember the time my dad took me to the park we used to workout ....the park which saw most of my childhood excursions :)...it saw the party of the last schooling day..as i grew it was place were i found people and usually prefer to have a long conversation...

this day..ironically i brought my mom a icecream and soup to my dad..took them around and finally a wonderful dinner..in a near candle light atmosphere.. we said bye to the day..closed our eyes"  -Equally made a break through in my work..for a start of new project..a evening to remember..

A Tough opponent !

My anthem !!!!

So somebody has finally created anthem for me !!! :) not exactly ..from the movie "Ravanan" -Tamil movie by Mani .

"Veeram" - Means Brave,Courage in Tamil -derived word is Veera or Veer.

This character in the movie 'veera' has most qualities that makes me..atleast i believe so :) hahahahah...

So this song is my anthem ! .  Thank you AR rahman for composing the song.Vikram for portraying an powerful character..mani for making this movie..i loved this movie ..

Football !!! - A relationship

First game i started playing around 4 yrs..my father taught and brought me a football when i was 4th standard...memories are flooding in.. :)))
                                                          At 8 yrs,   We had a wonderful team then arvin,joseph his brother ,ram sathish and another guy dont remember his name..an opponent team had 7 guys..we had lot of clashes those days..i remember the epic match..best of 5..we were 0-2 down..from that point we won..5-2..i scored the 3th one..playing the right winger..it was swift attack...

Remember how bad i felt after losing that ball :(..very loved one..i took care of her so much..i hit a wide pass..ball went to road..a bus driver stole the ball and drove away..chased him a long way..lost in vain..

After that nothing much in football till i joined Jaya engineering college..first year was very interesting..we really threatened our final year seniors..it was good match..bt lost..

My final year - was the captain and played the center forward ..i missed a pretty easy chance..one i regret even now..i shld have scored..gave my best to win the match for my team..it went to penalty..we lost..a semifinal match..had we won shld have been final..

 thus the last chance to hold a medal in football - first love..was also lost..

Inspired by great scientist De Broglie's hypothesis - " Nature is symmetric " . Painted this .

" Universe is symmetric..all living and non living things are interconnected and unified by a source . Symmetrical means the variation between two elements compared is constant or one is 'x' times multiple of other . They share the common property . Here , replaced the human mind by a tree - meaning mind resembles the tree's property - interaction with environment -it gives and it takes . Similarly mind receives signals and transmits - makes decision .

Human has two parts - within and whats seen outside . Whats seen outside is a resultant of whats within . Here, red colour is used - to symbolize aggression ,determination and will to achieve goal -destiny . Destiny represented by the final fire - shows a complete life cycle-child,adulthood-marriage, and lone battle to destiny-lighting is lighting of fire .

The society see's a beautiful outside image of such a human - he spreads peace - green colour  and knowledge -blue . Such a human is worshipped and respected even by angels "

Childhood games - A real training experience that helps me even now

Games between Age 5-8 :

At  4 yrs, found my friend Srikanth...at 5 we formed a team of four - Srikanth,Veera,Chandru,Prabu.

Sometimes Srikanth used to steal others pencil box ..magnetic boxes was very famous..he used to steal these boxes and take this magnets out..we were not aware of this..

Other classmates knew this..and thought that we four were part of this..sri never told us and we believed him ..until in class 5 he accepted and showed us the secret place..where he stored everything..

The whole wld literally hunt us down !..there was 2 small breaks and one big one-lunch..moment bell goes..we wll run out..since four didnt stand a chance against 45 boys inside the small classroom...

I must accept it was frigthening..just the thought of getting caught...my classmates formed groups to hunt and chase..to beat us...sometimes even their elder brother will chase us..

It taught me..unity..not to give up on my friend under extreme condition..we stood and fought together..sri and I were good runners..chandru and prabu was okay..

And also ,we were good fighters:)..hahah..small boys....sri was v strong for his age..chandru was heavy..prabu was feather...i used punches and kicks well !.....

Everyday it was either you escape...if caught..a battle against 4 vs 40...i am glad to say we beat them up many times..and got beaten up fewer times...do or die !

These guys were not only our enemies but our girls as well ! dont know why :)...we didnt like them:)

 Games between 8-13 :

 As we grew up..there was no enmity..the chasing thing gave rise to game called "Chain"..first a caugh'ter...manages to touch a running away guy..he is out..they both hold hand to form a chain..to caugh another..like this the join goes on..

since 15 to 20 holding hands and chasing is hard..we formed pairs...to chase...over a time..it became a predefined caughers and runners...

I am runner....love to fight it out till end..i was a last remaining warrior most times..running around..few moments still linger in my mind-imagine a big line of pairs..as u cross them..they create a arc to get u...wonderfully to find a solution from a nearly gone position..

This spirit is still with me..and keep the lessons learnt when small close to my heart and mind...

Visualizing Victories

" When the body cries...when the destination is no where in your sight..find yourself in a point where you cant go back..sometimes feel to stop and give up this fight...

At those points -Visualizing the victories...what you will go through..emotions..happiness..joy..tears of success..these thoughts will give hope...hope to carry on..
